Padar Island is the third largest island in the Komodo National Park, after the Komodo and Rinca. The island is relatively close to the island of Rinca than to Komodo Island, separated by the Strait of Leech. Padar island is not inhabited by ora (Komodo dragons). Around the island there are also three or four small islands.

Padar also accepted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, because it is in the Komodo National Park, along with the island of Komodo, Rinca and Gili Mota.

Around the island there are also three or four small island has a unique panoramic view of each. And in Padar also include overlay pink beach that is suitable for a swim, play water or snorkeling.

Location Padar Island is in West Manggarai regency, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara.

Visitors can also climb the hill on the island of Padar to enjoy the panoramic view from the top. Blue sea and surrounding islands ranks will hypnotize visitors. Although trekking towards the highest hill will be very tiring, but visitors will be presented with a panorama of rolling hills and scenery was gorgeous and capture the moments that would be no activities that bored during a trekking trip.

There are several ways to get to the island of the solid. For the first could be through Labuan Bajo. It is a favorite place for tourists to start their journey around the Komodo National Park.
